About this part
Inductive proximity sensors provide the presence and position signals that the safety system depends on: outriggers deployed, boom sections locked, drum rotation counted, anti-two-block armed. They are non-contact and so survive far longer than mechanical limit switches in a dirty environment.
We stock M12, M18 and M30 threaded barrel sensors in shielded and unshielded versions, in PNP and NPN, with cable tails or connector versions. Stainless steel bodies are available where the sensor sits in a wash-down or coastal environment.
