Marine and quayside operation is hard on equipment in a specific way: salt, constant humidity and wind. Components that would last years inland corrode, seize and fail early, and wind is the environmental limit that most often stops a lift outright.
We supply wireless anemometer systems for exactly that reason — IP-67 rated sensors with up to 500 metres of range, a handheld receiver and a 90 dB alarm at a user-set threshold, with no cable running the length of the boom to chafe and fail. They transfer between machines, which suits operations where one supervisor covers several lifts.
Alongside that we cover deck and quayside crane spares, hydraulic components, filtration, auxiliary generator sets and the electrical parts that suffer most from salt exposure — starters, alternators, harnesses and connectors.
Filtration deserves particular attention in this environment: humidity means water in fuel, and water separation is the difference between a running engine and a workshop visit.
