Frequently asked questions

We stock both. Where genuine OEM parts are available we carry them, and we also offer quality-tested aftermarket alternatives for customers who want a more cost-effective option without compromising on reliability. Our team can advise on the best fit for your budget and equipment.

We support most major makes and models of cranes, generators, tower lights and concrete pumps, including Chinese-manufactured cranes. We also distribute parts from brands such as Prestolite Electric, Terrain, Scarlet Tech, Plusrite and Fast. If you're not sure whether we carry parts for your equipment, send us the make and model and we'll check our stock.

Use the contact form on our Contact page, call us directly, or email sales@megacranetrading.com with your equipment make, model and the part number or description. Our team will get back to you with pricing and availability, usually within one business day.

Yes. Send us photos of the part or the equipment nameplate/serial number along with a description of the issue, and our team will help identify the correct part before confirming your order.

We are based in Oud Metha, Dubai and regularly ship across the UAE and the wider GCC region. Contact us with your delivery location and we'll confirm shipping options and timelines for your order.

All parts we supply are checked for manufacturing defects before dispatch. Genuine OEM parts carry the manufacturer's warranty; aftermarket parts are covered under our own defect warranty. Specific warranty terms are confirmed at the time of quotation, as they can vary by part and brand.

In most cases, yes. We carry a wide inventory, but for less common parts we can source through our supplier network. Lead times vary depending on the part and origin — we'll give you an accurate estimate when you enquire.

Yes — alongside crane spares, we carry a full range of generator parts, tower light components, filters, hydraulics, engine parts, transmission and axle parts, spark arrestors and wireless anemometers. See our Products page for the full list of categories.

It depends on the part. Items we hold in stock in Dubai can usually be collected the same day or dispatched within 24 hours. Parts sourced from our supply network typically arrive within a few days to two weeks, depending on the manufacturer and the shipping method you choose. When you enquire we will tell you the realistic lead time up front — including the option to air-freight where downtime cost justifies it.

The more you can give us, the faster we can be. Most useful, in order: 1. Equipment make, model and serial number 2. The part number stamped or labelled on the component itself 3. A clear photograph of the part, including any nameplate 4. For hydraulic components: port sizes, bore, rod diameter and stroke 5. For electrical components: voltage, connector type and output signal If you only have a photograph and the machine model, send that — we identify parts from photographs every day.

Yes. Tell us the machine and the service interval — 250, 500 or 1000 hours — and we will assemble every filter, seal, belt and consumable required for that service as a single package. This is usually cheaper than ordering items individually and avoids the situation where a service stalls because one element was missed.

This is a real consideration and not a marketing point. High ambient temperature, humidity and airborne dust shorten the service life of filters, seals, hoses and cooling components well below the intervals quoted for temperate conditions. Where relevant we will recommend the higher-specification option — Viton seals instead of nitrile for high-temperature circuits, for example — and advise on shortened service intervals for the conditions your machines actually work in.

Yes — we supply boom length and angle sensors, load moment sensors, displays, controllers, cable reels and harnesses. Please note that any component replaced in the safe load indicator chain must be calibrated against the machine's load chart and function-tested against a known load before the crane returns to service. This is a safety-critical system, and calibration is not optional.

Both. We supply contractors, rental fleets, workshops and equipment owners of every size, from single-machine operators to large fleets. There is no minimum order value for stocked items.

We are at Plot 11-0, Oud Metha, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Oud Metha sits between Bur Dubai and Dubai Healthcare City, which puts us within easy reach of the Al Quoz and Ras Al Khor industrial areas, Jebel Ali and Dubai Investments Park. Call +971 56 153 3944 before travelling if you want us to have a part ready for collection.

Yes. We deliver throughout the UAE — Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain — and export to Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain. Delivery is by road within the UAE, and by road, sea or air freight to the wider GCC depending on urgency.

Two reasons: time and risk. Importing a single component directly usually means minimum order values, a long lead time and customs handling you have to manage yourself — while the machine stands. Buying locally means stocked items move the same day, sourced items arrive on a consolidated shipment, and if the part turns out to be wrong there is someone in the same time zone to sort it out.
