About this part
Load moment indicator sensors measure the actual force in the hoist system and feed it to the SLI, which compares it against the permitted load for the current boom geometry and outrigger configuration. Because the whole overload protection chain depends on this reading, a faulty or drifting sensor is a safety issue and not just a nuisance fault.
We supply replacement sensors, harnesses, junction boxes and the sealing components that keep moisture out of the connectors. Every replacement should be calibrated and function-tested against a known load before the machine returns to service.
