This is the role at the centre of what we do. Enquiries arrive by phone, email and WhatsApp — usually a photograph of a failed component and a machine model, rarely a part number — and your job is to turn that into an identified part, a price and an honest lead time.
You will work across the full catalogue: crane parts, hydraulics, engine, transmission and axles, filtration, auto electrical, generators, tower lights and safety systems. Nobody expects you to know all of it on day one, but you should already be comfortable reading a parts diagram and asking the right follow-up questions.
The part of this job people underestimate is judgement. Knowing when the genuine OEM part is the only acceptable answer and when a quality aftermarket equivalent serves the customer better is what separates a good parts person from an order taker. We would rather lose a sale than put the wrong component in a load path.
You will deal with contractors, rental fleets and workshops in every emirate, so clear written English matters, and Arabic, Hindi or Urdu is a real advantage.
What you will be doing
- Identify components from photographs, nameplates and machine serial numbers
- Prepare quotations with genuine and aftermarket options and realistic lead times
- Follow up on open quotations and convert them into orders
- Coordinate with suppliers on sourcing, pricing and shipping method
- Keep customer and enquiry records accurate in the system
- Advise customers honestly on which option suits their application
What we are looking for
- 3–5 years in heavy equipment or automotive spare parts sales
- Able to read parts catalogues and exploded diagrams
- Working knowledge of cranes, generators or heavy plant
- Confident written and spoken English; Arabic, Hindi or Urdu an advantage
- UAE experience preferred; valid UAE driving licence an advantage
- Comfortable with WhatsApp-led customer communication
