About this part
The slewing ring carries every load the crane lifts and transfers it into the carrier while allowing the superstructure to rotate. Increasing tilting clearance measured at the bearing is the accepted indicator that a slew ring is approaching the end of its life.
We supply slew bearings, slew drive gearboxes and pinions, slew brake packs, hydraulic swivels, counterweight pins and the mounting bolts — which must be replaced, not reused, and torqued to the manufacturer's figure in the correct sequence.
