About this part

Telescoping cylinders operate inside the boom under high side load and are among the most demanding hydraulic components on a crane. Internal leakage past a worn piston seal produces boom creep under load, while a scored rod invites contamination that will damage the rest of the circuit.

We supply complete telescope, luffing and outrigger cylinders as well as the parts to rebuild them: chrome rods, piston and gland assemblies, wear rings, load-holding and counterbalance valves, and complete seal kits in nitrile, polyurethane or Viton for high-temperature service.

Measure bore, rod diameter, closed length and stroke — and note the mounting eye and port arrangement — and we will match the cylinder from those dimensions.
